My client are a specialist foundation and piling contractor that operate in a niche market with the overall emphasis being to identify problems and provide foundation solutions to civil, commercial, government and domestic projects throughout Australia.

A few years ago this contractor became part of one of the world's largest specialist ground engineering companies, ensuring a stable financial future. This specialist group has been built on two things (since 1860!), engineering excellence and a commitment to continual innovation.

This contractor implements various types of piles, including: Bored, Blind Shaft Sinking, CFA, Driven, Displacement, Marine and Push In Pile. Also my client operates in the areas of Reservoirs, Ground Improvements and Retention Systems.

At present there is a position for a Piling Project Manager to be based on South East Queensland projects.

The Piling Project Manager will be responsible for the total management and day-to-day running of allocated piling projects in South East Queensland. The positions roles and responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Daily client liaison.
Procurement of all materials required on the project.
Manage all day-today activities on the project site.
Constantly assess and review all resource capabilities.
Manage all invoicing of the project and claims.
Adhere to the schedule of works.
Follow established work practices and promote and maintain safety, whilst controlling environmental impacts and complying with legislative responsibilities.
