Contract Administrator

Our client, in Dandenong, specialises in the field of Design & Construction in the building and construction industry. They are currently seeking an experienced Contract Administrator with preferably 2 to 3 years experience with a commercial construction company.

Your role will include:

• Provide Contract Administrator expertise associated with delivery of projects ranging from $5 Million - $40 Million (mainly targeted to the industrial and commercial sector)

• Reporting to Project Manager

• Evaluate, compare & negotiate tenders

• Prepare contract variations

• Evaluate & prepare invoices for Project Manager

• Attend site meetings & prepare minutes

• Liaise with subcontractors

• Propose suitable subcontract tender list

To be successful you will:

o Poses a tertiary qualification in a related field - highly desirable, but not essential o Have a minimum of 2 years experience as a Contract Administrator - ideal o Have experience with a Commercial / Industrial Builder o Have a general understanding of contracts and procedures within the construction industry o Poses strong negotiation skills o Have excellent communication
