A leading technology company operating in the global Railway and Mass Transit Transportation Systems business with the provision of traffic management, planning, train control and signaling systems and services, They are to undertake design, procurement, construction, installation, testing and commissioning required for two Phoenix Train Control centers under the Train Control Alignment Program (TCAP).
The project is worth $10-11m and our client requires a Project Manager to oversee this project. Engineering Degree qualified with preferably Project Management qualifications, the ideal candidate will have had exposure to railway signaling including the design aspect rather than purely construction. Its not a construction manager role, although a minimum of 10 years experience in Engineering Management is desirable.Our client prides themselves on being a market leader throughout Australia, having their products preferred by clients and a genuine career development program. Not only do they always advertise internally for promotional opportunities before going external they also have a client 'academy' which is in house training on such skills as interlocking and other design aspects. You will be given the task of ensuring the on time and within budget delivery of this project and overseeing all contracts amongst contract administration.
