Customer Service Centre Manager - Lowlands

Our client is a world leader in the manufacture of equipment supplied to the mining and civil engineering industries. They have a requirement for an experienced Manager to work as part of an integrated and broad team at one of their operations in Indonesia.

Reporting to the Company's President Director you will be responsible for managing people and processes to achieve a profitable service centre for both the Company and the Customer in accordance with operational requirements. Specific responsibilities will include managing ♦ Safety and Environment - ensuring all work, plant and equipment is carried out safely ♦ Business Growth and Development - developing and maintaining new business and participating in the development of overall strategic business plans ♦ Operations / Processes - ensure all maintenance, repairs and rebuilds are cost effective ♦ People Management and Development - Recruit, mentor, motivate, train, evaluate and lead team members ♦ Financials - Develop budgets and monthly reports, control costs, manage resources ♦ Technical Expertise - Standardise and manage policies and functions for the workshop.

To be considered for this role you should possess relevant trade qualifications; a tertiary qualification in Engineering, Project Management or Business Administration would be an advantage. Other requirements include -

* A sound understanding of the mining industry
* Experience with the strategic planning and operations of workshop and service environments
* A high level of financial analysis skills
* Contract management experience
* Strong safety management culture
* Previous experience in managing multi-functional environments
* Strong computer literacy and report writing skills
