Bureau Veritas Australia Careers Bureau Veritas Five (5) Year Engineering Traineeships Get PAID to STUDY and WORK • Do you want to kick-start your career in engineering?• Do you want exposure to a variety of industries including mining, oil and gas, minerals processing and heavy industry?• Do you like the sound of being part of a rapidly expanding international company? We need enthusiastic people to join our five (5) year Traineeship Programme, which will see you gain practical 'in field' experience in many industries, whilst undertaking the "Advanced Diploma in Engineering - Technical". Once qualified as a Technical Engineer, you will be skilled across Mechanical, Structural, and Materials Engineering, with a strong background in non-destructive testing. We currently have vacancies in QLD (Brisbane, Mackay, Gladstone and Emerald), NSW (Sydney, Newcastle, Wollongong, Bathurst and Singleton), WA (Henderson and Karratha) and NT (Darwin). Trainees will work 5 days a week Mon-Fri; initially 3 days on the job and 2 days studying in the branch, then 4 days on the job and 1 day studying in the branch until their study is complete. All TAFE related fees and expenses are fully funded by Bureau Veritas. Essential criteria: • Year 12 Studies and pass marks in Maths, English and Science• Attention to detail, and strong problem solving skills• Ability to see outside the square (Inquisitive)• Strong ambition to become a qualified engineering consultant We are looking for people with the following skills: • Good Team Player• Career motivated• Willingness to travel• Flexibility in Work hours Bureau Veritas was founded in 1828, and now employs approximately 40,000 staff across 140 countries.
