JOB CODE: 2038-9-2 Senior Mining Engineer
Montreal based, possibly Vancouver. Consulting Engineering firm. Industry competitive and experience comensurate compensation.
You are a Mining Engineering Specialist who will provide high quality consulting services to a growing base of clients. This includes working with multi-disciplinary teams, preparing and reviewing project proposals, studies and technical reports. You will liaise with clients on a technical level and are willing to work in a bilingual environment (French/English).
You possess excellent communication, consulting, analytical and organizational skills as well as a dedication to team work. You ideally have ideally 7 to 10 years experience in mining operations or consulting with a focus on equipment selection, capital cost and operating cost estimates and are interested in business development. Preferably you have open pit mining experience and the demonstrated ability to find innovative and cost effective solutions to complex problems. You have NI 43-101 knowledge and experience as well as financial reporting skills.
The role will include occasional domestic and international travel and candidates must be able to register as a Professional Engineer.
