POSITION SYNOPSIS
Administrator Finance
Reporting to the Financial Accountant (Finance and Services) you will be accountable for finance support with particular responsibility for financial administration, customer’s receipts and all other related activities.
Your previous experience in a financial accounting / administrative support role will facilitate your efforts to address the following key responsibilities:
Maintain relevant part of finance ledger of SAP on a day-to-day basis;
• Process journals, purchase requisitions, service entry sheets, loading and verifying expense claims, translation of invoices into English and checking correctness of invoices;
• Assist in preparation of closing financial period in a timely and accurately manner;
• Maintain contractual and financial information records in line with agreed procedures and in a condition that will allow audit;
• Assist in performance of appropriate financial checks and preparing month end reconciliations;
• Provide assistance to other team members where required and act as back up in their absence;
• Maintain and enhance BHPBilliton’s reputation as a reliable and reputable supplier.
To be considered, you will be degree qualified (or partly qualified) in Basic Accounting or similar discipline, and have moderate finance experience, preferably in Finance Accounting. Computer literate, any proficiency with SAP, FI/CO/MM will be well regarded. Fluency in both Dutch and English, spoken and written, will ensure you a great fit.
