Nickel West is the world’s third largest producer of nickel-in-concentrate.
Mt Keith Operation is located 460 kilometres north of Kalgoorlie in the Northern Goldfields. Mt Keith Operation is a surface mining operation with an open pit and concentrator plant. The operation is surrounded by pastoral stations, with the nearest townships being Leinster and Wiluna.

Think Purpose
Reporting to the Engineering and Maintenance Manager, the Asset Integrity Superintendent manages the asset integrity of the fixed plant to provide a reliable and safe concentrator plant by;
* Implementing correct safety policies and work procedures to protect both personnel and equipment.
* Develop, monitor and continuously improve the Asset maintenance strategies and programs to ensure the fixed asset short and long term integrity.
* Optimising the plant and process to allow production and cost budgets to be met.
* Management of contracts and contractor strategies to met business requirements including provision of key services such as scaffold.
* Employing and training quality maintenance engineering personnel.
* Meeting all statutory and environmental regulations.
Think Requirements
This role is all about Leadership.
You will be a suitably experienced and qualified individual in the field of Engineering and Maintenance and have had extensive experience in a project or fixed plant maintenance leadership / supervisory role, with managerial capability. Ideally the preferred candidate will be from a mechanical or civil background.
You must have strong Safety Leadership, Project Management and Financial Management skill as these are pivotal for success in this role.
Advanced communication skills are a must as you will be required to liaise with personnel at all levels of the business on regular occasions. Strong management, coaching, presentation and facilitating skills are essential as will be the ability to utilise influencing skills to influence key personnel across different work functions.

A current WA Drivers Licence is essential.
