Drilling Superintendent

Rotational Drilling Superintendent required for field based position - Africa, starting March/April 2010 for a period of 12 months.

You will have frequent trips to the wellsite to monitor operations and HSE performance.

You must have previous experience working within a Major Oil Operator preferably in the early part of your career and in a technically advanced operating area, exposure to a competent management system and performed a Drilling Engineering role. You will also have experience of sand control and rigless intervention operations.

You will have experience in at least 1 previous land drilling & workover campaign in a 3rd world country as a Drilling Superintendent which involved complex logistics management.

Ideally you will also hold an engineering degree.
