Geotechnical Manager

* Large scale Indonesian coal mining operation

Our client currently seeks an experienced Geotechnical Manager. This position reports to the Division Head - Mining and Hauling.

Job Responsibilities:

* Set up and develop the GE Department to be able to provide the necessary geotechnical input for the safe operation of the mine and to operate and maintain the monitoring systems
* Provide sound geotechnical advice to planning and operations personnel that ensure the integrity of the mining operations from a slope stability perspective
* Develop and maintain slope monitoring systems that will reliably inform operating personnel of impending slope instability
* Develop and maintain the slope dewatering system
* Engage geotechnical specialist consultants as required and pass on their recommendations to management as appropriate.

The benefits will include:

* There will be a 2 week break every 10 weeks. The company will provide return full fare economy class travel for your self, to Point of Origin for each of these breaks.

* The company will pay 100% of all medical, dental, optical and hospital expenses incurred by yourself (subject to the companies insurance policy).
* Work permit, visas, exit permits etc., for yourself will be arranged and paid for, by the company.
* The company will provide furnished accommodation.
