Required for the delivery of major capital works and associated programmes within educational establishments. The successful candidate will have specialised project management (design and construction management), consultant engagement, project programming and contractual skills to ensure that these projects are delivered on time, budget and to plan.
To deliver these projects you will have continuous engagement with the educational community, external consultants, political stake holders and the projects team.
You must have demonstrated communication skills, the ability to negotiate effectively with contractors and clients, the ability to provide written and oral reports/briefings and to write and interpret contracts and specifications.
This is a Client Side project management role and involves building and construction project management for upgrades, new build and adaptive re use works on some fascinating assets.
You will be trade or tertiary qualified in architecture, engineering, building or an associated field and have at least 5-10 years solid project management experience, ideally within NSW. Educational/Institutional project experience would be seen as a bonus.
This is a well paying contract position, initially a 3 month trial period, followed by longer term opportunities of 12 months or more. Remuneration will be on hourly rates between $50-75/hr.
