Our client, a Brisbane-based miner exploring for Copper and Base Metals in Africa’s richly endowed Kalahari, has a vacancy for a Senior Exploration Geologist. The primary purpose of this position will be to conduct exploration activities and assist in generating quality projects.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

* Plan detailed exploration of the Company’s concessions
* Identify outcrops
* Calculate reserve estimation from borehole data
* Plan borehole drilling patterns

Qualifications & Experience:

* Tertiary qualifications in Geology
* Minimum of 10 years experience in Copper exploration
* GPS experience
* Geological Software experience such as MapInfo and others
* Team player, adventurous
* Offshore experience required

An excellent remuneration package and bonuses is on offer to the successful candidate.
