Processing Manager

Our client is currently seeking to appoint a Manager Processing to their Process Plant located in north-west Queensland. Reporting to the General Manager Operations you will lead the processing team to safety achieving organisational targets whilst ensuring environmental, quality and legislative requirements are achieved.

As the Processing Manager you will be responsible for establishing systems and contracts prior to recommencement of mine production. You will be required to recruit your departmental staff in line with your following areas of responsibility: crushing, heap leaching, solvent extraction, electro-winning and the stripping of copper, metallurgical and process engineering support, maintenance and the laboratory.

To be successful in this role, you will require having:

* Tertiary qualifications in Metallurgy,
* +10 years experience working in a senior management position at a mineral processing operation,
* Previous demonstrated experience in copper heap-leaching and SX/EW,
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
* Skills to engender a culture of safety, team work, and excellence via continuous improvement.
* Experience in a remote location is desirable,
