Our client is an international mining company with operations in Central Qld. An opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified Surveyor to join this excellent underground coal operation.
Reporting directly to the Senior Surveyor and with a further assisting team of Junior Surveyors you will be an integral part of the surveying team working collaboratively to achieve the Surveying plan.
You will thrive in this position if you are particularly seeking to work within an environment and operating mine culture that places a firm emphasis on team work, problem-solving and quality safety standards.
As the Surveyor your role on site will directly impact the production and development of the site therefore it is essential that you possess:
• Relevant tertiary qualifications - Surveying/Spatial Science Engineering
• Experience in an underground operating environment - construction/building industry experience will be considered
• Exceptional people skills with a genuine team outlook
• Technical knowledge in MS Office suite, AutoCAD and other survey software/mining packages
