This is a great opportunity for you to work directly with one of the worlds premier mining companies. They are currently working on several multi billion dollar mining projects in WA and are looking to enhance and develop their currently operating mines.

Due to a spike in work load they are looking for a temp Contracts Officer to join the Perth based team to assist with the scope of work for a 6 month period. Ideally they are looking for someone with a understanding of the contracts process at a contracts administration level and a background in IT related projects in particular software development or communication infrastructure projects.

The successful applicant MUST have:

• •Exposure to the mining industry
• A firm understanding of the contracts process - variations, scope of work, checking vendors etc
• Experience working on IT related projects - IT solutions (software development) or infrastructure works (Communication Infrastructure projects etc).
• A background in supply/procurement
• Excellent communications skills - both written and verbal

This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience working for a mining giant with extensive mining projects on the go.
