Work is in an underground mine plant setting at an elevation of 10,800' above sea level, which may include exposure to extremes in temperature and humidity, moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock, toxic chemicals, explosives, fumes or airborne particles. Under close supervision, performs a variety of routine warehouse duties involving the receiving, unloading, inventory, storing, movement, and distribution of goods and materials at assigned site.
- Receives and unloads goods and materials and places into inventory
- Receives and reviews orders for goods and materials
- Reviews inventory records to determine availability. Pulls requested items for customers
- Maintains records of delivered items and remaining inventory
- Initiates restock of items as necessary
- Updates manual or automated inventory listings
- Performs other duties as required
- One (1) year of related experience
- Basic understanding of warehouse inventory control systems, purchase orders and accounts payable processes and methods
- Able to operate a variety of light equipment, handtrucks and vehicles within a warehouse environment
- Ability to maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions
- Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Preferred

- Work is in a mine or manufacturing plant setting, which may include exposure to extremes in temperature and humidity, moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock, toxic chemicals, explosives, fumes or airborne particles
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs and ladders, work on elevated platforms, talk, hear and see
- Occasionally may be required to lift moderately heavy objects up to fifty (50) pounds during the course of the workday
- Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in a mine, outdoor, or manufacturing plant environment, including hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves and any other protective equipment as required
