Want to be Underground Manager?
Take on the Alternate position for 12 months with a view to be promoted across one of the 4 sites as the next Underground Manager   This particular project operates an up hole stope method for a complex ore body and mined 115,000 ounces of gold last year. You will control and supervise the underground operations of the mine, ensuring compliance with all regulation and legislative requirements. While promoting an environment conducive to safe production, you will also ensure the 200 strong work force have the appropriate skills and training to safely complete their work.
Training and development in this international miner is a significant part of their business. Business improvement is constant and this company sees secondments to Toronto and Africa as a significant way of developing their staff moving forward. Internal movement within the company is supported and employees are encouraged to work for the organisation internationally.
To be considered for this role you will have a Bachelor of Engineering (Mining), First Class Mine Managers Certificate, and at least five years mining experience.
