You will be the primary point of contact for Geotech on site, mentoring a graduate and gaining support from the Senior based in the Perth office.

What this means is you'll undertake investigation and remediation of all geotechnical issues from sampling, through to design and monitoring of mining slopes for this shallow but large scale operation.

Challenging aspects to stretch your experience further include managing projects like:

• Foundation design,
• Slope stability analysis - determine causes of major slope failures  
• Re-assess and propose changes to pit plans to ensure future stability for the 40MTPA site
• Geotechnical input into drill and blast design including vibration analysis will also be a focus.
