OPERATIONS READINESS MANAGER – GROSVENOR

Interested in a senior leadership opportunity at a Greenfield operation, designed to become the benchmark of longwall mining for our underground operations? 

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead the Grosvenor mining function from operations readiness to production. This position gives you the opportunity to utilize your operational experience and knowledge in establishing the systems, processes, people and equipment that will make Grosvenor a benchmark operation.

As the Operations Manager you are accountable for developing and deploying mine readiness plans to support the operations achieving annual production targets, whilst driving our zero harm practices and culture. Your technical advice will contribute to the future design of the mine and optimizing production performance.

This is a unique position, with huge development potential for the correct person. Whilst it is preferred that you hold SSE qualifications, this is not essential.  We can support your development into the SSE qualifications and role but it is mandatory that you hold at least a Queensland 2^nd Class Mine Managers Ticket [Coal] for Underground as well as S1, S2, S3, and G3 qualifications. You will be required to progress this to a 1^st Class Ticket within 12 months.
