Systech International, established in 1990 and part of the Systech Group is a top ten Quantity Surveying and Dispute Resolution consultancy that employs over 350 professional staff across five continents. We provide Quantity Surveying and Construction Consultancy services on major building and civils projects and are seeking Quantity Surveyors to join our teams based in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Doha.
Systech has an interesting and varied portfolio of projects ranging from major infrastructure projects such as light rail systems to large oil and gas developments throughout the Middle East and Africa. It provides a range of services from bid preparation, through to commercial management of live projects and managing final accounts as well as specialist contracts advice and dispute resolution services; including mediation, adjudication and arbitration. Systech currently has opportunities for Quantity Surveyors/Contract Administrators to join their Middle East team. Ideally, you will be a Chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS) with strong commercial acumen and a pragmatic approach to providing solutions. Candidates should ideally be able to demonstrate an in depth understanding of the forensic approach to delay analysis and experience in the preparation of claim/defence documents. A background in project cost control, management of subcontractor accounts, reviewing and agreeing Loss and Expense Claims, Extensions of Time and Delays and handling variations would be a distinct advantage, but not essential. Consideration and support will be given to candidates who wish to develop their core skills into claims advice specialist areas of consultancy such as Dispute Resolution.
