$75K - $80K
Outstanding job opportunity working for this solid, growing oil and gas independent located in downtown Houston. Working for the President, you will take responsibility for a wide variety of tasks including purchasing office supplies, setting-up vendors, dealing with leasing office, purchasing furniture, overseeing office administrative personnel (receptionist and secretaries), and many special projects. In addition, you will also be expected to provide administrative support to president from time-to-time. No prima donnas wanted in this role - you must be a down-to-earth person who leads by example and has a pitch-in, let-me-help attitude. To qualify for this special role, you should possess the following:
*10 - 20 years overall office experience with a career track record of ever increasing responsibility
*prior experience as an office manager or similar lead role
*oil and gas industry experience. Strong preference given to person with oil and gas operating company experience
*excellent MS Office skills
*excellent communication skills
