Description:
Our Turner Valley Field office has an opportunity for a Loss Control Administrator. This position is responsible for the loss control administrative functions and reports to the Superintendent. This is a temporary full time position and the anticipated length of this assignment is one year.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare documents, reports and presentations including printing and filing.
Create and maintain efficient records management, project documentation and filing systems (electronic and hardcopy).
Record training along with setting up and monitoring safety inspection / workforce task competency training.
Ensure Loss Control related manuals are updated.
Update various spreadsheets and prepare monthly and weekly reports.
Maintain contractor orientation database.
Update Safety and Action database (TITAN).
Handle truck tickets by tracking and inputting data into PVR.
Prepare and process production charts.
Manage office supply inventory and process orders.
Liaise with answering service.
Cross train and provide back up to Field Administrator.
Qualifications:
3 plus years administrative experience.
Prior experience in a field office is an asset.
Proficient with MS OfficeSuite.
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong time management and organization skills.
Ability to multi-task and work on a wide variety of projects.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Eagerness to learn and genuine interest in ensuring the smooth running of the field office.
