Great opportunity to work with a well established E&P company located on the west side of Houston, and be responsible for supporting the company's exploration and production activities in Texas and New Mexico.
Responsibilities:
Analyze, interpret, negotiate and draft exploration contracts and other land related documents (oil and gas leases, joint operating agreements, unitization agreements, letter agreements, farmout/farmin agreements, surface use agreements, participation agreements, AMI agreements, right-of-way agreements, damage settlements and releases)
Prospect analysis and evaluation.
Supervise and coordinate field brokers in the acquisition of oil and gas leases, oil and gas property acquisitions, lease checks, title examination and curative.
Acquire, maintain and prepare oil and gas properties for drilling, re-completions and plugging and abandonment.
Coordinate with lease and division order analysts in order to administer monthly lease rental payments, critical lease obligations and changes in lease ownership.
Qualifications:
Team oriented person with ability to prioritize and solve problems. Bachelor's degree required plus applicable certifications a plus, with minimum 5 years industry experience.
