APPLICATION SUPPORT SPECIALIST

In the capacity of an "Application Support", the job incumbent will be responsible for tracking the container movements and generation of reports based on varied functionalities enhancing the system stability and perfection, with direct report line to the CIO.

II Key Accountabilities:
• Tracking of containers movements
• Helping with all the technical or electronic procedure for solving problems Work as a power-user making provision for handling corrupt or incorrect data
• Data integrity and mining.
• Rectify errors reported by Trade offices an Agents Container budgeting, TMAR, MMR reports.

III Job Context:
• Internal: CMD, Operations, Head office, Accounts dept.
• External: Trade offices and agents customers

IV Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelors' Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
• Up-to-date tracing the latest technology in world market
• Ability to foster a cooperative networking environment.
• Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills.
• Self Motivated.
• The ability to demonstrate a strong personal commitment to achieving the goals of the IT department is essential, combined with an analytical mind and logical. firm judgment.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities to maintain a balance between day to day operations and strategic development.
• Amiable and amicable in approach; able to work under pressure and perform the assigned task with utmost perseverance.
• Fluency in written and spoken English is a must.
• The ability to demonstrate a strong personal commitment to achieving the goals of the IT department is essential, combined with an analytical mind and logical. Firm judgment.

Experience:
• Min 3-5 years of hand on experience in the support of wide range of software applications, systems and. Desktop Office suites..
• An understanding of emerging technologies and industry standards is essential.
