THE ROLE
CCL has been requested by a leading Oil & Gas Energy company to provide a Senior Contracts Administrator for a position based in Kazakhstan. This position has a 28/28 day rotation and contract duration of 1 year. Excellent daily rates.
THE PERSON
At least 10 years experience of working with contracts in oil & gas industry in similar positions plus 2 years international experience and 5 years experience in Commercial Negotiations, Project and Corporate Contract and Finance Procedures. Role is to support Lead Contracts Administrator in carrying out day to day administration of contracts and related matters and to ensure contractor compliance. Fully support Contract Administration Team in all aspects concerning contract management and looking after company interests towards Suppliers / Contractors as well assuring correct interpretation of contract clauses and their proper transfer to purchasing orders and sub-contractors.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Diploma level education in either business or engineering. Competent in commercial negotiations and ability to work in multinational environment. Good knowledge and understanding of Project and Corporate contract and finance procedures. Knowledge of computer based systems including Enterprise wide applications, Excel, Microsoft Office or equivalent packages. Knowledge of checking of contractual terms against invoices. Ability to work in an expediting role to assist Contract Holder in execution of obligations. Ability to work with minimum supervision and to liaise with other team members in resolution of queries and disputes. Positive attitude & ability to work constructively within a multi-cultural team environment. Excellent communication skills including fluency in written and spoken English.
