Supply and Distribution (S&D) is at the heart of Shell's Downstream business. S&D have the primary responsibility of managing the physical supply chain, which deals with the selection and acquisition of crude and feedstock for our refineries, right through to the delivery of products to our customers. Our goal is to deliver the right product to the right place on time and maximise the overall margin potential across the different lines of businesses.

The Supply line of business is divided into four operational regions, namely, Europe, East, Latin America and USA, all supported by a Global Strategy Team and a Global Supply Excellence (GSE) Team.

As part of the Global Strategy Team geographic area. you will drive the strategy development process within a defined geographic area.

Supply Strategy Analyst
(Singapore - Shell House, Central)

Responsibilities:
* Evaluate and determine product supply/demand balances in each supply envelope, and develop strategies to meet the requirements;
* Develop and maintain an understanding of Shell’s competitive position in each envelope;
* Identify long term exchange and 3rd party supply options;
* Identify opportunities for inter regional supply optimization;
* Provide strategic input to portfolio and manufacturing expansion projects;
* Contribute to the development of other global/regional manufacturing, supply and distribution strategies as required.

Requirements:
* Degree in a technical discipline, preferably in Engineering;
* At least 6 years' experience in Petroleum Supply, preferably with some exposure to refining and/or marketing;
* Strong analytical and strategy development skills, combined with a sound understanding of the supply/demand and economics fundamentals of oil markets and a strong external focus to ensure that we stay focused on beating the competition;
* Authorisation to work in Singapore is required for this position;
* A remuneration package based on the conditions in the country of employment will be offered for this position.
