Shell Malaysia Trading Sdn. Bhd. (6087-M) has been operating for more than a century in Malaysia and is looking forward to more exciting and challenging years ahead. We refine, supply, trade and ship crude oil and petroleum products, as well as market and sell transportation fuels, lubricants, speciality products and technical services.

You will be part of the DS SEA Credit Organisation. This position will be responsible for the ongoing generation of monthly Global Credit KPI reports for the SEA Cluster and to provide in-depth analysis on the trend of KPIs to the SEA Cluster & MY Credit Manager and various Class of Business in order to have the right information to assist the Businesses in achieving Credit KPI. In addition, successful candidate will also be playing a key role in driving standardized processes across the DS SEA Credit Organization.

This will be a challenging and exciting position, as successful candidate will be required to be able to simultaneously balance multiple goals and objectives and have the ability to interact with all levels of the company.

Credit MI & Process Analyst
(Kuala Lumpur - Malaysia)

Responsibilities:
* Provides strong support to the SEA Cluster and MY Credit Manager on matters relating to Management Information and Processes;
* Responsible for timely preparation and submission/circulation of the following reports: Monthly Credit KPI performance reports & summary of Downstream One business (excl. SRC) in Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia;
* Prepare and review bad and doubtful debts provision on a quarterly basis and ensure that the provision is in accordance with the guidelines specified in the Downstream Credit Manual;
* Produce and distribute relevant Credit Management Information across Businesses and ensure timeliness, accuracy, completeness and comparability of information;
* Works closely with the Central Credit MI Teams on any related projects;
* Responsible to process and recommend proposal for write off of bad debts for the respective level of authorities support and approval;
* Regularly review legal cases handled by legal department to determine the status and chances of recovery;
* Act as the Focal Point with Legal Department and/or External Collection Agencies on all legal matters;
* To act as a process and Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Supporting Credit systems and processes in line with GSAP and Streamline requirements and also key liaison to IT in relation to processes and systems.

Requirements:
* Possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in Technical/Finance/Business;
* Ability to handle pressure and have good time management;
* Possess preferably 3-4 years of relevant working experience;
* Possess some basic knowledge of financial accounting;
* Good communication and engagement skills;
* Good analytical and risk analysis;
* Able to tactfully deal cross-cultural sensitivities;
* Fluency in written and spoken English is essential for this position;
* Authorisation to work in Malaysia is required for this position.
