Provide technical and management support from the feasibility and development phase through project implementation.
The primary function of this position is the management and execution of major industrial construction projects including RFP
solicitations, contractor evaluation and selection, engineering, construction, startup testing, performance testing, and environmental compliance testing.
Contracts may be Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC), target price, lump sum or other contracting arrangements.
• Significant major power generation hands-on experience with equipment, services, contracts, specification/procurement, and/or operations. Preferred experience related to gas/oil fired plants as well as coal fired plants
• Experience with power project design and cost estimating tools (i.
e. GTPro, or equivalent)
• Knowledge of current environmental and regulatory issues regarding power plants
• Proven experience collaborating in a large, diverse professional organization.
• Ability to represent the Company at job sites, in the local community, and in all related professional settings (conferences, seminars, user’s groups, insurance companies, etc).
BS Degree in an engineering discipline required. PE registration preferred but not required.
