JOB OPPORTUNITIES AT PT MEDCO E&P INDONESIA

PT Medco E&P Indonesia is a leading oil and gas company engaged in exploration and production, currently operating 18 blocks in Indonesia. The company culture is shaped by its values: professional, ethical, open, and innovative.

The company is involved with a number of upcoming projects and is currently looking for experienced candidates in the following positions to support its operations:

Senior Market Analyst (MA)
Jakarta – based

Responsibilities:
• Analyze gas supply and demand in Indonesia and regional markets; identify market opportunities; analyze market demand for gas substitutes in order to map competitors and to supply new industries which need gas as feed stock, smelter or fuel, etc.
• Analyze possibilities of utilizing associated gas to monetize gas as fuel or LPG, etc.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree from reputable local/ overseas university/ college, preferably in Engineering
• Minimum 10 years’ work experience, with at least 4 years work experience in Business Development or as Marketing officer, of which 2 years should be in the oil and gas industry

Senior Market Planner (MP)
Jakarta – based

Responsibilities:
• On time market development and forward market planning based on updated and/or new reserves with a suitable gas pricing strategy to ensure optimum revenue for the company

Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree from a reputable local/overseas university/college, preferably in Petroleum Engineering or Geosciences
• Minimum 12 years work experience, with at least 7 years work experience in Marketing or as a Marketing officer, of which 4 years should be in the oil and gas industry

Mechanical Engineer (ME)
Jakarta – based

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for technical integrity of all mechanical facilities design for assigned projects, in compliance with all applicable company and international industrial codes and SHE systems

Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant engineering discipline.
• Minimum 10 years work experience involving mechanical engineering and oil and gas industry facilities construction

Material & Piping Engineer (MPE)
Jakarta – based

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the technical integrity of all flowlines, pipelines and material aspects and for mechanical design for assigned projects, in compliance with all applicable company and international industrial codes and SHE systems

Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant engineering discipline, with an emphasis on piping & pipeline engineering
• Minimum 10 years work experience involving both mechanical/piping/pipeline engineering and oil and gas industry facilities construction

Instrument Engineer (IE)
Jakarta – based

Responsibilities:
• Technically accountable for all aspects of process/safety control systems and instrumentation for all company processing plants, transportation and supporting facilities
• Provide active, on-site assistance during construction of facilities, ensuring that instrumentation and control system components are installed and tested in accordance with design documents

Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Engineering or other relevant engineering discipline, with an emphasis on mechanical engineering
• Minimum 9 years work experience as instrument engineer on oil/gas projects, familiar with detail engineering. Some experience working in the field is required
