Description:CCL has been requested by a major international EPC contractor to provide a Subcontracts Manager. Position is based in Houston. Must be willing to travel as and when required by client. This is a direct hire with a competitive compensation package. This vacancy is being handled by CCL's Houston office.
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree. Must be a self-starter able to interpret and administer large domestic / international contracts; identify / perform contractual work within the guidance of company policy / procedures, management directives and / or good business practices. Fluent written and spoken English.
Experience:The candidate, under broad direction, oversees and ensures performance of procurement and administration activities associated with subcontracting work within a Service Delivery Center, Product Line, Manufacturing Center, Project or defined business area. Manages Subcontracts personnel engaged in qualifying suppliers, issuing requests for proposals, performing proposal evaluations, and maintaining subcontract files. Coaches and develops assigned staff. Develops special conditions for projects. Job role has budgetary type of accountabilities or directly impacts a revenue center's viability or its quality of service via personal contributions. Job role contributes directly to value creation. Skills are typically acquired through completion of 10 years of experience in Subcontracts / Procurement, which includes experience in field services, engineering or construction and negotiations.
