1. Purpose & Scope:
Plans, directs, coordinates and manages all activities for the entire LNG Plant Maintenance, Normal & Major Maintenance, turnaround activities and Capital Expenditure programs for the Plant Maintenance, Power Generation, Storage and Export Facilities necessary to meet COMPANY Business Objectives.

Supervises total subordinates
• 02 Head of Maintenance (Process) with 90 subordinates
• 02 Head of Maintenance (Utility) with 91 subordinates
• 02 Head of Maintenance (Storex) with 39 subordinates
• 01 Head of Maintenance Turnaround & Planning with 28 subordinates
• 01 Executive Secretary and 01 Document Coordinator
• In addition to 69 contractors for UPS, HVAC, Lighting, F&G and Power Generation Term Contractors
• Turnaround contract (~ 2000 contractors)
3. Duties Performed:
Plans, directs controls and manages the activities of assigned personnel in the Maintenance Division. Performs supervisory functions and exercises financial authority at level established by Management.
Responsible for setting company maintenance policy and monitoring compliance.
Agrees and sets corporate objectives and Maintenance Division performance targets and manages appropriate strategies in order to translate company missions into measurable divisional activities.
Sets the Division’s Key Performance Indicators and manages their successful progress.
Ensures availability and reliability of the LNG Plant and all associated facilities meet the operational requirements and that all work is undertaken in an efficient manner and according to national and international codes of best Engineering practice.
Assures the safety of personnel and equipment through compliance with Health Safety & Environment regulations and maintains the attitude that all accidents are preventable. Coordinates efforts for Plant-wide compliance with the Company’s loss control and environmental protection programs.
Ensures the LNG Plant and equipment performance are regularly monitored and analyzed to maintain and improve availability and reliability.
Manages maintains and improves Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) Program. Ensures that the Division’s staff are kept aware of Modern Maintenance Techniques and Developments to achieve the desired performance level.
Directs the overall planning of maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance routines and train major overhauls. Ensures that the required maintenance work is resourced and completed in accordance with job schedules, agreed practices and planned periods.
Controls and monitors the Divisional manpower, materials and contracts budgets for normal, major maintenance and capital expenditure. Reviews expenditure, analyses variances and prepares reports to Senior Management.
Develops contract strategies and assists Contracts Department in the preparation of Conditions of Contract and Pre-qualification invitations and ensures the Division follows COMPANY contract development/selection process.
Directs the planning and coordination of work performed by manufacturers representatives, specialists and external consultants related to maintenance.
Directs and participates in the planning and coordination of overhaul and maintenance programs in conjunction with the Engineering and Operations Division.
Supports “new projects” and “modification” proposals from Engineering and Projects Divisions for comments, execution and commissioning.
Sets Divisional HSE KPIs, control and monitors implementation of actions to contribute toward achieving the company set targets.
Coordinates the work of the Division with Operations, Engineering, General Technical Services and Integrity & Quality Departments. Regarding the short/long term planning of the Division’s activities and the needs of the COMPANY Plant.
Plans and controls the manpower requirements for the Division ensuring effective implementation of the Emiratisation policy. Manages the identification of training needs and the establishment of job targets.
Ensures proper implementation of the approved training and development programs with the Division with emphasis on UAE Nationals and through continuous follow up of CAMS, CAS and effective succession planning.
Guides and directs improvements in the plant by leading and approving initiatives to enhance reliability, availability and production effectiveness.
Initiates Maintenance Standing Instructions and ensures revision and updating of the existing Standing Instructions, maintenance procedure manual and maintenance policy manual.
Performs other related tasks, such as preparing reports for Senior Management, conducting special duties, participating in Emergency Response (ICS).
4. Work Contacts:
Internal:
Has regular contact with Senior Management up to General Manager. Has frequent contact with Operations, Engineering, HSE & Integrity, Personnel and Training, Human Resources and Procurement for planning and coordination.
External:
Regular contacts with Specialists, Consultants and Contractors for negotiating of contracts resolving technical and contract problems and supervision of contracted work. Occasional contacts with suppliers and manufacturers representatives as required. Frequent contact with shareholders for technical assistance and staffing. Occasional contacts with ADMA-OPCO Senior personnel to liaise for the interface of Company business.
5. Latitude:
Reports to Plant Manager.
Works independently on broad assignments, guided by Company objectives and professional engineering standards.
Work accomplishments are subject to Senior Management review and directions.
6. Supervisory responsibility:
Supervises:
• 02 Head of Maintenance (Process) with 90 subordinates

7. Physical efforts:
Minimal, with occasional standing and walking when outdoors. 8. Work environment:
Normally air conditioned environment, with over 5% of working time spent outdoors, exposed to noise, dust, high humidity and environmental adverse temperature conditions. Work conditions involves working at heights and occasional confined spaces.
9. Minimum requirements:
a) Bachelor of Science in engineering discipline or equivalent.
b) 15 years diversified Engineering and maintenance experience in the oil, gas or petrochemical industry, including at least 10 years in a Senior Management Position.
c) Good knowledge of spoken and written English.
