Description:CCL has been requested by a leading Oil & Gas Energy company to provide a Field Superintendents (Power Generation) to be responsible for coordination and supervision of site construction activities relating to the designated areas of responsibility (Power Generation Project). A single status residential position based in Kazakhstan will travel as required by client. Contract duration 1 year (renewable). First class accommodation and local transport provided. Rotation 4/4. Excellent daily rates.
Qualifications:HND, Diploma or other equivalent qualification in a mechanical / rotating / static equipment preferred. Good technical, interpersonal and team-working skills. Computer literate. Patience and skills to work closely with engineers and contractors from different cultures and develop technical interchange and understanding in both directions. Fluent in written and spoken English as working language is English. Knowledge of Russian and / or Kazakh language is highly desirable.
Experience:Minimum 10 years' industry experience of detailed design and operations preferably in complex onshore and oil and gas projects. Experience in operation of high H2S content facilities. Previous similar company role, especially in managing and interfacing with major contractors. Experience of supervising or coordinate personnel construction engineering disciplines. Has to work effectively with International and Local Contractors on a team basis. Responsible for management / supervision of construction activities, HSE, QA / QC, Progress vs Schedules. Liaise with RoK technical and regulatory staff for the compliance with the RoK regulations. Working knowledge of all relevant discipline codes and standards. Business planning skills - in so far that it impacts upon management of the Project. Application of a strong commercial focus whilst maintaining an appropriate cost / time / quality balance. Ability to identify the need for and manage the integration of HSE and technical risk processes into engineering and project solutions.
