POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Assist JV Manager to manage JV Program:

Complete weekly & monthly JV reports and/or updates

Complete and expedite Technical Services Requests

Coordinate with SAOC organizations

Draft necessary letters

Complete and expedite Secondment requests

Coordinate with SAOC organizations

Draft necessary letters

Assist JV Program Manager to prepare for board meetings

Monitor JV progress

Assist JV Manager to manage SAOC/JV relationship

Assist JV Manager to coordinate reviews of JV operational milestones

Assist JV Manager to monitor competitor activities

Assist JV Manager to manage JV agreements

Assist JV Manager to support Ministry of Petroleum

SELECTION CRITERIA:

Education: Bachelor s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Geosciences, Finance or Business.

Candidate with technical/business background is a big plus

Eight (9) years experience in the petroleum industry out of which at least two (2) years working with upstream joint ventures.

Strong background in corporate governance, commercial issues and various contractual agreements in upstream areas.

Strong technical background in either G&G or PE discipline in either production, reservoir or drilling.

Strong financial or business background is a big plus.

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

Ability to deal with outside partners.
