Project ROV Specialist

The Project ROV Specialist will assist and support the project teams and operations personnel during planning and execution of offshore projects. This individual will provide high quality ROV operation and intervention solutions for installation tasks for a wide range of facility, flowline and subsea installations. Applicants will have a degree or college qualification in an associated discipline and/or a suitable level of experience in offshore construction support. This is a shore based assignment with periodic travel offshore and internationally.

Responsibilities Include:

* Provides support to marine estimating and proposal activities.
* Coordinates with operations on-site/offshore platform, subsea and pipeline installations.
* Provides technical assistance to the company’s operational personnel and the customer’s representatives.
* Bid support on offshore ROV operations and subea survey.
* Identifies project requirements for ROV and subea survey services.
* ROV subcontract evaluations.
* Coordination and support for Project Management and Operations
* Preparation and maintenance of subcontractor service orders.
* Monitors ROV subcontractor equipment mobilization, work and demobilization for company’s vessels.
* Inputs lessons learned for future reference.
* Review and approval of subcontractor invoices.
* Assists project teams with latest available technology as applicable.
* Other duties as directed by Division Manager.

Job Requirements:
Applicant Requirements:

* BS Civil, Mechanical or Ocean Engineering and/or applicable field experience.
* 5 plus years offshore ROV operations, and/or project engineering experience with subsea, pipelay and/or fixed and floating facility installations.
* Working familiarity with Windows XP, MS Office Suite and MS Project.
* The candidate should have fluent English speaking and writing skills.
* Able to work in the United States.
* Able to work offshore.
* Able to travel internationally.
