Fabrication Operations Engineers
Liaises With:


Discipline Engineering Managers, Project Construction Managers, Lead Planners, Fabrication Superintendents, Procurement Managers, Regional Subsea Directors


Basic Functions:


- Coordinates installation engineering studies
- Develops accurate and practical installation procedures and project schedules
- Trains, mentors and supervises field engineers
- Manages major installation related subcontracts
- Provides bid input
- Other duties as assigned.


Task and Responsibilites:


Coordinates the design, construction and operation of new subsea onshore fabrication facilities globally. This includes subsea component fabrication and spoolbase facilities
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Leads the efforts for starting up new subsea fabrication facilities, as required, globally. This includes facility design, procurement, construction and operational start-up.
- Provides Operation Engineers support on projects
- Coordinates with the discipline engineering mangers to ensure adequate production engineering support is provided on projects.
- Reviews safety and productivity project performance indicators.
- Initiates productivity and safety improvements plans on projects
- Assists projects with constructability input
- Assists Fabrication Operation Engineers with key decisions related to fabrication
- Communicates fabrication management goals to all production engineer personnel
- Coordinates with the project Construction Managers on any project related concerns
- Coordinates bid inputs and assists regional operating units as required.
- Other duties as assigned.

10 - 15 years in marine and subsea fabrication
Bachelor Degree in Engineering
