The Project Information Manager (PIM) has the responsibility of implementing the new document management system (Coreworx) in the Americas. This position is responsible for local configuration specific to projects executed by the region, administration of the software for the region, trees, local training and project support associated with project use of Coreworx.
Job Requirements:
1) Participate in the configuration of the global templates for document workflow and project meta-data in Coreworx.
2) Work with the Coreworx trainer to develop a training program for document controllers and other users of the Coreworx system for the region.
3) Set up and conduct instructional sessions for all regional users.
4) Interface with project controls and engineering disciplines in implementing Coreworx.
5) Work with project teams (initially Chevron Platong and Maersk Peregrino) in setting up project specific templates and workflow.
6) Field questions and address problems with Coreworx within the region.
7) Prepare procedures/work instructions as required to support effective operation of Coreworx.
8) Become proficient in a reporting tool compatible with Coreworx to generate project specific reports.
9) Act as a member of a global team of regional PIMS to address global issues and standards for Coreworx.
