Location: USA The ABAP HR Developer will be responsible for developing ABAP code within the SAP support organization to improve and extend the HR / Payroll functionality in SAP. This will include providing production support to existing HR-Payroll applications as well as participation in the implementation of new functionalities.
The ideal candidate will facilitate in the training of new team members. As such, this position requires strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated teamwork and organizational capabilities.
The appropriate individual will have demonstrated experience in the following:
Five or more years of experience in all facets of SAP ABAP including but not limited to: reports, interfaces, conversions, user exits, dialog and call transactions, custom time/payroll operations functions, and debugging the existing SAP code.
Complete lifecycle experience including the gathering of functional specifications, intimate familiarity with SAP HR and Payroll configuration, development and testing of ABAP code, end-user acceptance testing and final delivery. HR-Payroll configuration experience in the applicable HR modules including payroll is required for the purposes of being self sufficient in the development lifecycle.
Job Requirements:
Experience with: IDOC, ALE, BDC, RFC, BAPI's, BADI's, Infotypes, Web Dynpro, ABAP Dictionary, Performance Tuning.
Extensive development experience in: SAP HR, Payroll, CATS, including intimate familiarity and experience accessing the Time and Payroll Clusters
.
Extensive interface experience with benefits providers is mandatory.
Payroll Data Conversion, including analyzing payroll runs and cluster tables.
Knowledge of Smartforms or Adobe Interactive forms a plus.
