This position is responsible for SAP Basis and application administration activities, and designing and implementing application system solutions across the technical landscape.
Key responsibilities include:
Provide technical support for SAP ECC6, and related SAP new dimension applications such as SAP Enterprise Portal (EP), XI, BI, and Solution Manager.
Installation/Upgrade knowledge of SAP R/3 and it’s related components, and some database administration utilizing SAP tools.
Perform system refreshes for QA, Sandbox and training systems.
Provide support for SAP printing, email and fax architectures.
Maintain SAP integration and support tools.
Facilitate communications with the current system outsource provider, and assist in making key decisions regarding the eventual in-house solution.
Job Requirements:
Thorough understanding of the R/3 infrastructure and client/server approach.
Strong SAP troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
Proven experience in the daily administration, monitoring, troubleshooting and performance tuning of a complex SAP landscape.
Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of issues inherent to SAP systems.
Experience with one or more SAP implementation life cycles (upgrade or new installation).
Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or a minimum of 3 years of equivalent experience in SAP Basis Administration. Knowledge of server and network administration techniques is a plus.
This position requires strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated teamwork and organizational capabilities.
