The Subsea IMR Maintenance Team Leader is responsible for management and execution of subsea projects involved with maintenance of subsea assets. This will include preparation and modification of maintenance programs, maintenance work packages, comprehensive maintenance plans using CMMS, M+, Maximo or equivalent for the asset. The Team Leader – Maintenance will also assist the Manager-IMR Services with business development and proposal preparation.
The Team Leader is required to be familiar with the technical aspects of maintaining subsea production assets and is expected to operate with general autonomy but report to and receive general direction from the Manager-IMR Services.
The Team Leader supervises all elements of the Maintenance project teams to include Project Managers, Discipline Engineers, Marine Specialists, Risk Specialists and other discipline specialists assigned to the Maintenance projects.
The role of this position is to manage, administrate and supervise personnel and resources for Maintenance projects, either standalone or in support of other Subsea IMR teams. The Team Leader – Maintenance will also be responsible for technical content of all projects in the team, as well as assisting with business development efforts with respect to new business and assisting with all bidding and planning for IMR projects worldwide. The Team Leader – Maintenance becomes responsible for daily supervision of all McDermott personnel and resources assigned to the Maintenance group on either a temporary or permanent basis. The Team Leader – Maintenance must be familiar with all applicable codes, regulations and specifications related to the projects being performed by the Maintenance team. Additionally the Team Leader – Maintenance will:
* Manage the development, implementation and execution of Maintenance projects.
* Manage the resources that are in place and execute successful projects.
* Monitor project performance in meeting objectives.
* Provide leadership in the recognition of subsea hazards, development of safe working practices and full investigation of incidents that occur.
* Coordinate efforts with other departments within McDermott.
* Implementation of all HSE expectations in accordance with the company’s HSE Plan.
* Conduct management and technical oversight on any sub-contractors used on Maintenance projects.
* Ensure that Project individuals have completed the required training prior to traveling to site locations/suppliers works.
* Manage Project job safety assessment processes such as JSA, HSSE.
* Implement a Project Execution and Responsibilities Plan for all Maintenance Projects.
* Actively recruit new personnel for the subsea group, particularly in support of IMR activities.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Graduate degree in Engineering or Science required, advanced graduate degrees strongly preferred.
Minimum of 10 years relevant experience required, advanced degrees considered in lieu of experience.
Professional certification (NACE, PE, EIT) and membership (ASME, IMarEST) preferred.
