Woodside’s Information Management Processes and Systems are going through a period of evolution with an aim to achieve standardisation and consistency across Assets. This is an outstanding opportunity for the information management professional to be a part of this evolution. The Engineering Information Management Specialists provide standardised Information Management, including assurance, governance and education for Karratha Gas Plant (KGP), King Bay Supply Base (KBSB) and the Karratha Heliport with a focus on Engineering (Mechanical) Information.

The Engineering Information Specialist - Mechanical position will act to ensure and improve the integrity of engineering information by:

* Assisting to provide assurance of Information quality, currency, accessibility and delivery and therefore assisting to assure the integrity of the Karratha assets.
* Providing input into Perth driven IM initiatives.
* Driving continuous improvement of the various Information Systems and the quality of Karratha’s Mechanical Engineering information content.
* Providing input into the development of Corporate IM standards for Project Handover and Operations management.
* Acting as a Karratha Focal Point for Information Systems and Processes.
* Acting as the Karratha focal point for Engineering Information queries and to provide guidance from an Engineering IM viewpoint.
* Reviewing and accepting project close out files for IM completeness.
* Reviewing SAP Master Data Changes. (FLOC reservations, changes to engineering data etc)
* Providing assistance in locating Engineering Information. (Drawings etc)
* Coordinating Engineering Information Data Quality Improvement activities.
* Safety and Health Responsibilities
* A commitment to the Golden Safety Rules.
* Demonstrate commitment to safety performance by setting a positive example to others.
* Assist in the development, communication and instruction of safe work procedures and actively promote them.
* Report incidents/hazards as per standing procedure and ensure appropriate remedial actions are undertaken.

The business environment this role operates is characterised as being focussed on, HSE, integrity, security, cost optimisation and striving for efficiency improvements. The business faces a period of rapid growth and change with an associated rapidly increasing Quantity of Information in conjunction with evolving Information management Systems and Processes. This position operates in a multi-disciplinary team environment where there is a direct impact on the business and an increasing reliance on quality content and accessibility within the Information Management systems.

Qualifications

* Experience working in an operational plant and/or EPC background will be highly regarded
* Degree specific to the discipline is not essential

* RIM: Records information Management Database
* Information Systems (eg DRIMS, Virtual Bookshelf, CDD, ALIS)

* MS Office (Access would be an advantage)
