Location: Saudi Arabia MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Personnel, Business Administration, Economics, or some closely related discipline or combination of disciplines. EXPERIENCE: Thirteen (13) years comprehensive experience in the employee relations field. OTHER: Through knowledge and interest in industry employee relations and trends worldwide.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Specialist in human resources perform some or all of the following duties: -Develop, implement and evaluate personnel and labor relations policies, programs and procedures; -Identify policy need/concerns. -Perform comparative analysis of policies. -Advise managers and employees on the interpretation of personnel policies, benefit programs and collective agreements. -Negotiate collective agreements on behalf of employers or workers, and mediating labor disputes and grievances. -Research and preparing occupational classifications, job descriptions and salary scales. -Administer benefit, employment equity and affirmative action programs and maintain related records systems. -Coordinate employee performance and appraisal programs. -Research employee benefit and health and safety practices and recommending changes or modifications to existing policies. Provides functional direction to assigned professionals where necessary for effective completion of projects. Performs major studies of complex Employee Relations issues and presents comprehensive recommendations. Reviews policies and procedures, researches or devises methods of organizing tasks, coordinates implementation of approved programs. Advises and counsels all levels of Company Management relative to specialty area(s) as well as related policies and procedures. Acts as ERP&P member of corporate task forces and committees where areas under study may require incumbent specialty input. Conducts, in concert with organizational personnel, regular or special surveys in locations such as the U.S., the U.K., Europe, Gulf and Asia to establish or confirm required data and information on local policies and practices. Assesses the extent to which Aramco policies and program changes should be made, including alternatives as appropriate. Develop and recommends actions to be taken.
