• Manage the capabilities and competency development of the GSAP Improvement and Support team

• Resolve system development and support issues where appropriate

• Ensure consistency with BHP Billiton systems best practices

• Advise on system deployment in new businesses

• Integrate S&L education, training, documentation and support with other related business activities

• Plays a key role in developing expertise in providing S&L Support capably across the Company

• Custodian of gap analysis and planning for gap closure striving for standardised processes and consistent execution

• Ensures relevant S&L support activities and systems contribute to the achievement of corporate objectives

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Development of e-Learning solutions

• Development of medium/long term support strategy

• Responsible for improving the Supply MM requirements and coordinating with technical experts from CSC/Accenture

• Responsible for identification of opportunities to use new technology to improve Supply & Logistics function.

• Coordination of developments and testing, where applicable with all cross functional teams to ensure alignment.

• Management of training & development in the use of Supply Systems

• Develop and direct contracting, procurement and materials management process optimisation and automation.

• Transfer of best practice and governance (compliance reporting, audit action resolution) to all sites.

• Design, implementation and training in new Supply systems developments

• Oversee and coordinate Global SAP upgrades, changes or additions impacting Petroleum

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

Experience

• 8-10 years post graduate experience in supply, operations or a business/system support role

• Experience of SAP implementation

• Operational experience of oil and gas industry desired

• Leadership or supervisory experience desired

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in a relevant discipline

• ILP and / or equivalent management course

• Trained in SAP MM module
