We are a successful multi-national company involved in the manufacturing, distribution and selling of energy and petrochemical products.

You will provide Shell Malaysia Downstream (SM - DS) Health Safety, Environment/Sustainable Development (HSE/SD) strategy and leadership. You will ensure all Downstream business units activities achieve vision of zero incident, cultivate high levelof HSE culture and activities promotes sustainable development.

Downstream Malaysia encompasses the refining, supply, trading and shipping of crude oil and petroleum products through the sales and marketing of transportation fuels, lubricants, specialty products and technical services. This position will report to the Managing Director of Shell Malaysia Trading Sdn Bhd.

HSE / Sustainable Development Advisor
(Kuala Lumpur)

Responsibilities:
* Responsible to increase organisation high level of HSE Culture and zero incidents achievement;
* Leads SM-DS HSE/SD matters;
* Formulates SM-DS HSE policy, strategy and plans;
* Leads various HSE/SD Network team to achieve standardization;
* Represent SM-DS with external stakeholders on HSE/SD matters;
* Provides governance SM-DS HSE MS is in placed and effective;
* Responsible for effective implementation of all HSE/SD, Emergency, Crisis and associated plans;
* Coordinates SM-DS HSSE MS compliance programmes to determine HSSE risks controls, compliance and continuous improvement.

Requirements:
* A general HSSE professional with a strong blend of leadership experience, change management, stakeholder management skills and result oriented;
* Possess a Degree in Engineering, Science or equivalent;
* Possess at least 8 years of experience with a proven record of working in HSSE operational/management roles;
* Has skill in HSE management system;
* Ability to influence without authority, lead and work with network of HSSE/SD specialists, business managers and HSSE professionals at local and global level;
* Fluency in written and spoken English is essential for this position;
* Authorisation to work in Malaysia is required for this position.
