BHP Billiton Shared Services Centres perform leveraged, transactional activities at central locations, allowing our diverse businesses around the world to benefit from cost and time efficiencies. The Kuala Lumpur centre will function predominantly as a transactional back-office facility for BHP Billiton’s global operations providing HR Payroll, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Card Services, Cash Accounting, Inter-company Accounting and Sundry Receivables services, running on SAP. The aim of this new centre is to be world class through offering the right people outstanding development opportunities.

THINK POSITION

We seek highly motivated individuals to join our dynamic team as Administrator, Payments/ Reimbursements. Reporting to the Team Leader, you will ensure the timely and accurate processing of payments/ reimbursements as well as management of queries from the global customers of BHP Supply Services in Kuala Lumpur.

Core accountabilities will include:

* Process vendor invoices according to Payment Services procedures
* Escalation for complex issues to Specialist, Payment Services
* Timely and accurate management of customer enquiries & complaints relating to payment services transactions
* Provide support to team members to enhance skills within the team
* Deliver excellent customer service
* Build and maintain positive relationships with team members, suppliers, internal and external customers
* Pro-actively identify and assist to implement process improvement opportunities
* Identify own strength and development needs and participate in staff training as required
* Promote a team environment by assisting colleagues whenever necessary
* Plan and prioritise own work, identifying priorities and timeframes
* Assist with system testing and internal controls as required.
* Photocopying, printing, filing & archiving where required
* Participate in ICE and report non-conformance to Coordinator, Payment Services
* Comply with BHP Billiton Safety policy and procedures

THINK REQUIREMENTS

The successful candidate should possess:

* Minimum “A” Levels or Diploma with at least 1-2 years of relevant experience. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
* Good analytical, investigative and problem solving skills
* Meticulous and attentive to details
* Results driven and is focused to deliver on goals
* Possesses good communication skills and interpersonal abilities to work effectively across functions and geographical locations
* Working knowledge of process improvement processes and methodology
* Knowledge in supply and related processes preferred
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and ideally SAP
