Education: Bachelor or Masters degree in Engineering from an accredited university
Designations Required: Eligibility for membership in the APEGGA
Languages Required: English
Experience: Minimum Requirements
A minimum of ten SAGD oil production experience in a supervisory role.
Thorough understanding of Alberta regulations governing workplace safety and environment and oilfield operations
Complete understanding of ABSA requirements as they apply to the company's facilities
Demonstrated record of continuous improvement, innovation and cost reduction
A thorough understanding of SAGD production techniques and oil treating operations
Experience in plant commissioning and plant trouble shooting
Knowledge of co-gen power operations an asset
Experience in scheduling, planning and budgeting, community and labor relations and plant design
Able to use Microsoft programs effectively, including Excel and Word
Analyse complex issues and provide solutions
Job Scope
As a key leader to the plant operations team, you are expected to contribute to the commercial success of the Company's SAGD operations by providing strategic leadership in the areas of operations, technical maintenance, plant design, planning and budgeting
