Shutdown Maintenance Leader - KGP

Join Woodside as a Shutdown Maintenance Leader and have the opportunity to work with the best who’ll bring the best out in you. Working on the Karratha Gas Plant (KGP) which is operated by Woodside on behalf of the North West Shelf Venture (NWSV), this role is pivotal for successful coordination and management of shutdowns. You will have the opportunity to demonstrate your ability to excel by delivering on the key accountabilities of this role, some of which are listed below.

Key Accountabilities include:

* Incorporate scopes of work and develop integrated plans for all assigned shutdown activities
* Accountable for works from scope development through to closeout of the shutdowns
* Develop and control health, safety, environment and quality management plans for all shutdown activities within area of responsibility
* Supervise implementation of allocated activities during shutdown activities, reporting progress each shift to ensure the health, safety, environment, schedule and quality standards are achieved
* Assist in the development and management of the shutdown budget and long term maintenance plan
* Develop and maintain risk assessments for allocated activities

Qualifications

* Operational experience in the Oil & Gas or chemical industries
* Previous experience in applying a structured project management approach to shutdown maintenance activities
* Tertiary qualification in engineering and/or project management, suitable trade qualifications viewed favourably
* Relevant supervisory experience or demonstrable leadership qualities
* Experience in rotating equipment overhauls will be viewed favourably

Individuals that are self motivated, have a strong commitment to safety with exceptional organisational and communication skills will succeed in this role. Previous experience in a similar role will be highly sought after.
