Move away from a straight, production focussed QM role. These positions all have a more technical slant. Use your QM and still move through the Tech Services branch when you advance and/or make sure you have that rounded experience that will be needed at Mine Manager level.

• Surpac, Vulcan – mentor younger Engineers in their use.
• New Senior Management in company has injected new life to team and attracted strong investment.
• FIFO 8/6.

• Supervise current flagship OP operation and oversee the development of satellite pit projects.
• True mix of planning and production; D&B design, scheduling, medium term planning.
• Top 5 gold producers Australia wide.
• FIFO 8/6 or DIDO Kalgoorlie.

• Optimisation of mine designs/plans while city based and implementation on site.
• Multiple pits, tie short term plans and schedules into longer term outlook.
• Deputise for Quarry Manager with statutory responsibilities.
• Roster: 5/2 Perth, 4/3 site - See the family but still have on site impact.

Minimum requirements for these roles are a BEng in Mining Engineering and an Unrestricted QM ticket. Knowledge of Surpac, Vulcan and Whittle would all be favourable.
