Primary Responsibilities
Directly supervise the Drilling and Completion well site supervisors. Coordinate, direct, and review all drilling, completion, workover, and well testing operations within the defined well programs and budget, in order to fully meet the project objectives. Ensure the correct and safe implementation and execution of all well operations procedures.
Skill Profile
§ Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering.
§ Fifteen years field experience in drilling, completion and workover activities with at least two years of well site supervision.
§ Proven ability to function well in team environment
§ Excellent presentation and communication skills
§ Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Maintain open communications with all departments within the Company.
Detailed Responsibilities
§ Direct Well Operations activities in compliance with time and cost budget, in accordance with company requirements, HSEQ standards and good petroleum engineering practices.
§ Oversee company personnel at rig sites.
§ Lead Drilling, Completion, and Subsea Engineers in items directly related to operations.
§ Ensure any and all equipment, materials, and manpower (both company and contractor) necessary to implement the operational program have been evaluated and are adequate to safely and efficiently execute the planned operations.
§ Control well operations activities and associated contractors, coordinating activity of the Company's and Contractors units involved in well operations and make decisions about day by day matters
§ Report during well operations execution any technical or economical variation from approved scope, proposing the appropriate changes if necessary
§ Participating as a member of the emergency task force in event of blow-out of other major emergency
§ Participate in defining operating programs for drilling activities and in the preparation of relevant budgets.
§ Ensure all operations are in compliance with both Company and Government regulations.
§ Lead, in emergency situations, the necessary means to safeguard personnel, equipment, the environment, and the wellbore, according to existing plans.
§ Ensure drilling materials are available and in good condition. Report any discrepancies or deficiencies.
§ Ensure all BOEMRE permits are obtained as required prior to and during any well operations.
§ Ensure all contractors maintain their equipment in a good and safe condition.
§ Ensure all operations are carried out in accordance with safe operational procedures and good drilling practices.
§ Maintain contact with all relevant contractor personnel onshore to inform them of operational status and discuss relevant programs.
§ Keep abreast of developments in techniques, equipment, and materials for relevant operations and, where suitable, recommend for possible implementation in Company operations. This includes JIP’s and industry work groups.
§ Maintain open communications with Drilling and Completion Engineering Manager regarding all phases of operations.
