Our client is a leading Australian Oil & Gas exploration and production company with interests and operations in every major Australian petroleum province. As Australia's largest domestic gas producer, they currently require an Experienced Project Engineer.

Successful candidates will be responsible for the Project Management of new flowlines, intra field pipelines and associated infrastructure to connect new wells to processing facilities in Australian onshore coal seam gas assets. Previous project management / engineering experience is required, preferably within an operating company or construction contractor.

Specific responsibilities include:
# Estimating project costs / budgets & cost control
# Procurement - Purchase orders / delivery schedules
# Fabrication contractor management
# Installation contractor management / Commissioning
# Document Control / Project handover

This is a Brisbane based role, however monthly travel to site will be required. Working alongside Construction Supervisors who manage daily site based activities, succesful candidates will have a relevant engineering qualification, whilst having worked in the engineering and construction field, focusing on gas pipelines and facilities.

Responsible for an annual $20 Million capital budget, you will manage cost tracking throughout project implementation, focusing on contract directions and variations.

This is an exciting opportunity to assist in the management of numerous Coal Seam Gas Projects, joining a company with the largest Australian Exploration Portfolio.
