Leading Energy Provider / Coal Seam Gas Development Projects / Commercial Gas Production / Downstream Focus / Brisbane Based Role / Operating Team Focus

Our client was established to participate in the development of Coal Seam Gas Projects, addressing Queensland's growing demand for energy and power generation. With aim to continuing the overall development of Coal Seam Gas Projects, they currently require an Experienced Operations Engineer.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, successful candidates will be degree qualified in the field of science, mechanical or petroleum engineering, with a petroleum industry background. Working alongside Site Construction Contractors preparing drilling sites and surfaces, previous Coal Bed Methane drilling operations experience is preferred.

Specific responsibilites will include:
# Gas processing and measurement
# Detailed engineering design / specifications
# Compressor design / operation / maintenance
# Planning drilling activities / development programs
# Site preparations / contractor coordination

An opprtunity to join a leading Gas Production Company, based in Brisbane, successful candidates will occasionally travel to both site and suppliers.
